Heathcoat Cricket Club volunteers are looking forward to the Saturday 6th April when former England Captain, Mike Gatting will be working at Knightshayes with Natwest Cricketforce volunteers to put the finishing touches on the new pavilion. The project team are asking for cricketers, locals, volunteers and anyone interested in this remarkable project to come down for the day and offer their support. The project still requires funding to complete the works and any assistance in this capacity will be greatly appreciated.

Heathcoat C.C. needs your financial support!:

The new proposed pavilion project at Heathcoat C.C. is progressing well on site but the club are still working hard with local suppliers and businessman to help raise the final funds to complete the construction. This has now been confirmed as a local ECB Natwest Cricketforce project and, as such, the club will be looking for help from local supporters, tradesmen and anyone that feels they can donate towards this fantastic project.

ITV have produced a news story on the project in an aid to raise local awareness. This story can be viewed online here. Macdonald Designhad proposed using National Ltd who had recently completed the outstanding projects at Ashtead and Chipstead but in a further twist the National Trust offered the use of timber cut from the grounds of Knightshayes and they would supply it free of charge.
The works commenced on 12^th September and will be completed by April 2013. The club are now searching for the final funding which will allow for the final groundworks and internal improvements to be finalised to suit a building of this quality.
